2026/2027 asteroid campaign: first results

From 7 September to 2 October 2026, the second asteroid search campaign of the 2026/2027 school year brought together students and volunteers, as part of the Pan-African Citizen Science e-Laboratory. Its preliminary results have just been published.

AIA congratulates the astronomy club of the Lycée français Blaise Pascal in Abidjan on a preliminary asteroid discovery. It still has to be confirmed, but it shows that the seeds sown in school clubs are already bearing fruit.
