Astronomy clubs to introduce students to space

The Lycée Blaise Pascal in Abidjan opened its astronomy club thanks to a telescope donated by the ASPP-BGS association. AIA took an active part in the ceremony.

Students observed the sky, guided by their physics and chemistry teacher. Telescope donations and the creation of five astronomy clubs in March were also announced — three in elite high schools and one in Abobo — under the “One school, one telescope” programme.
